Down Right Beautiful
Down Right Beautiful is a Down Syndrome Awareness project I created in order to help spread awareness and positivity about Down Syndrome.
The project consists of 32 different babies, children, teenagers & young adults all of whom have Down Syndrome. Each person involved had a photoshoot by me and their parents have written about their lives, experiences and some advice they would give to new or expecting parents of a child with Down Syndrome. This project has given myself and all involved a huge sense of pride and is the begging of more awareness projects to come. Down Right Beautiful made it onto BBC Midlands today, Channel 5 news and into the Solihull and Coventry observer. We received a massive response and will hopefully continue to educate people on what it actually means to have Down Syndrome.
